Setting a Contact to Inactive

Once a Contact is created it cannot be deleted, however a contact can be made inactive if it is no longer needed.

Inactive means a contact will not appear on any lists, depending on the contact type. So, for example a subcontractor will not appear when allocating work. 

An internal user that is marked inactive will not be able to access the system.


From the main menu select Contacts

Locate the required contact and click to open


 From the Status drop down menu select inactive


Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select Save
