2.2 Create New Contact. Version 1.0. Last Updated May 2025.
Create New Contact
The contact database functions similarly to a phonebook, encompassing both internal users and external contacts. Within this section, you can input and manage personal details for all contacts.
In the main menu, select Contacts.
To create a new contact, you can either:
- Click the ‘New’ button at the top of the screen and select ‘New Contact.’
- When in the Contacts section from the main menu click the ‘New Contact’ button.

Once you are in the Create New Contact page select the Contact Type – this selection will determine which fields are available to complete i.e. choosing subcontractor from the list will then give an option to choose a trade type.

Contact Types
Client | The party you are receiving work/jobs from i.e. the Insurance Company or another Builder. |
Company | If your company is part of a larger organisation, specify the parent or sister company for which the work is being completed. |
Contact Employee | An employee of one of the Clients in your contacts list. |

Then you will need to select the Company Type – either Individual or Company. Regardless of the Company type, you can still add employees/offices.
