Setting Schedule Dependencies

To create a dependency, you need to link the Work Orders together.

To do this drag your pointer from one item to the other. You will see a faint grey arrow appear.

Now, if you move the main item on the Schedule, all other items within the dependency will move along the schedule. Keeping the same period spaces between the start dates of each Work Order.

Note- you can also move other items out without changing the previous item. For example, if you only move out the work order on line 2, it will only change the 2nd and 3rd work order items on the schedule.

To remove an item from the dependency, click the grey line which will turn red. Then click the red [X] which will unlink the Work order from the dependency.

To change the time frame of a Work Order, you can just use the blue arrows to change the length of the job.
