Authorise Estimate
From the main navigation menu select Jobs and search for the job associated with the required Estimate.
When you open the job, the jobs menu will be displayed. Select ‘Estimates’ from the Jobs menu.
Locked estimates pending authorisation will be displayed in the Estimates Summary tab.

Before you can authorise the Estimate it must be Locked. If the estimate has not been locked previously it will be displayed in the working copies list within the Summary tab. In that case open the estimate and select Lock.


The pop up will give you three options

You can lock and authorise the estimate all at once, or Lock & Authorise individual items. In the instance you are sending the estimate off to a client for approval you would only Lock the estimate. Once approval has been received you may Lock & Authorise or Lock & Authorise Items.
A pop up asking 'Are you Sure?' will appear, once the estimate is Locked you cannot edit it. Click Yes
