Allocations
Allocations can be used to assign specific work to external suppliers or internal colleagues. Makesafes and Specialist Requests are two great examples, you can use the Allocation so you can send Work Orders to trades but also have flexibility in being able to adjust the estimate as required.
Navigate into the job you need to create the Allocation against.
Click the Allocations option in the job menu on the left-hand side.

Select the Allocation Type
Click Create New Allocation

Click Change Status at the top of the allocation page.

Select new status from the drop down menu.
Add notes if applicable.
Notify an internal user if applicable.
Select Change Status to confirm changes.

Assign to Internal User
Click the pencil icon on the right-hand side of the screen to assign the allocation to an internal user.

Fill in the applicable details of the request under the Allocation heading on the left-hand side.

Label - The Label will default to the allocation type, you can edit this as required.
Assign to Contact - You can assign the Allocation to an external contact e.g. Subcontractor.
Note - you can do this through Work Orders as well, you don't have to use the Assign the Contact field.

Limit - Type the value you have been authorised to invoice the client.
Instructions - Type the information you have been provided from the client and what they require you to do.
Customer First Contacted On - Select the date you contacted the customer.
Customer First Contacted Time - Select the time you contacted the customer.
Site Attended / Start - Select the date you first attended site and/or started the request.
Site Attended / Start Time - Select the time you first attended site and/or started the request.

Completed - Enter the date you finish the request.
Completed Time - Enter the time you finish the request.
Works Completed – Enter details of what works were carried out.
Click Update at the bottom of the Allocation details to save all the information.
