How To Create a Timesheet Record
Timesheets can be used to track hours of internal users. This can be set against the cost of a Work Order.
To create a Timesheet, from any page of the Job use the ‘Quick Access Menu’ on the right-hand side of the page, click the clock icon. A blade will open with the Timesheet for you to complete.

Fill in the required field on the Timesheet.
Depending on your Administration settings certain information may be pre-populated depending on your role as a user. This can be adjusted as required or filled in manually if it does not populate automatically.

User – will default to yourself but you can complete a timesheet for another user, select them from the drop down.
Activity – select the task you were completing on the job from the drop down.
Role – select your job role from the drop down.
After Hours – tick the box if you are completing work outside your normal work hours and this will adjust the Rate the timesheet will be calculated at.
Rate / hr and Sell Rate / hr – complete these fields with the relevant Pound values (if it's not automatically populated).
Activity Date – this will default to the current date, you can change this to enter timesheets for previous days.
Commenced At* - this is a required field. Select the time you started the activity. If you select Now it will enter the current time, you can continue working on your task in the job and then complete the timesheet when you are finished.
Completed At* - this is a required field. Select the time you completed your activity, use the clock button or the Now button or the plus and minus options.
Paid and Unpaid Break Time Type – use the drop downs to select the applicable options. If you do select a break type a second box will appear to enter the time.
Notes* - required field. Type a description as to what you were doing during this time, e.g. Site assessment visit.
Total Cost and Total Sell for Activity – these fields will be calculated by Contractor Workspace.
Approval – Select applicable approval status. If you require further approval internally you can set a status as pending.
Viewing Timesheets
To view time sheets linked to the job go the ‘Finance’ in the ‘Job’.
Select ‘Timesheets’ Tab.

From this view you can see all timesheets connected to this job. You can also create timesheets here by selecting the ‘Create Timesheet’ button.
